The Seminar will be conducted by:

The Session will be preceded by an Awareness Presentation by the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) on the EU regulation covering “ Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism-CBAM”.
The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is an environmental policy instrument and directive issued by the EU designed to apply the same carbon costs to imported products and entered into application in its transitional phase on 1 October 2023 till December 2025.
The Awareness Presentation will be conducted by:

This Seminar is a continuation of Chapter Zero Egypt Awareness program and follows the seminar previously held on Sept. 6th which tackled “What is Sustainable Growth & Climate Risk effect on Businesses” and the “Sustainability Strategy” seminar held on October 4th , the webinar held on October 19th which covered “Decarbonization to reach Carbon Neutral” along with the seminar held on November 8th entitled “Reporting Guidelines for Businesses”.
